| This course will introduce you to the ancient practice of Tai Chi and will provide training in Tai Chi principles and movements that can enhance wellness for you and your clients. |

| The research continues to report on the health benefits of Tai Chi (including reduced risk of falling), and more facilities want to include Tai Chi in their programs for both patients and clients. You will learn how to develop a personal Tai Chi practice that enhances fitness and is also a great way to gain relaxation and composure, and youll be able to incorporate Tai Chi movement principles into functional mobility training, neuromuscular reeducation, relaxation, stress management, and postural reeducation for clients and patients. |

During this two-day course you will:
* learn to understand the health benefits of Tai Chi;
* learn and be able to demonstrate the Tai Chi principles;
* learn basic Tai Chi movements and postures;
* be able to modify movements for different physical abilities; and
* learn applications for specific patients/clients.
